Sculptures

My sculptures are encounters between the human and the mythical. I seek to give form to the tensions between vulnerability and power, reality and dream, so that each figure carries not only its form, but also a presence that instigates the gaze and invites reflection.

Homoerotic Sculptures

These sculptures take the penis as an icon of pleasure, identity, and resistance. In ceramic, it becomes both an object of worship and deconstruction: fragile, breakable, yet also eternal. The work ironizes taboos, celebrates the diversity of bodies, and invites us to look desire directly in the face – without shame, without disguise.

Murillo Boni Vitti, born in São Paulo in 1986, is a gay man with a degree in electronic engineering. Since childhood, he has been driven by a curiosity to understand how things work and to create. At a young age, he taught himself drawing and painting, and later found sculpture to be a medium for giving form to his ideas.

My work stems from dualities and conflicts related to belonging, anxieties, desire, and identity. These issues manifest through contrasts, often materialized in symbols and gestures.

Homoeroticism also runs through this investigation, in which the body emerges as a space of exhibition, vulnerability, and affirmation, expanding the tensions between intimacy and visibility.
